Don’t miss this special 100th anniversary screening of the 1925 silent horror classic The Phantom of the Opera, starring the legendary Lon Chaney, and featuring an original live score combining rock and orchestral music, created and performed by the acclaimed Austin, Texas music ensemble The Invincible Czars!
The Invincible Czars are bringing their signature blend of eclectic instrumentation, adventurous arrangements and sense of emotional depth to the all-time terror classic, The Phantom of the Opera, starring Lon Chaney (known as “The Man of a Thousand Faces”), with their brand-new, tastefully modern soundtrack, performing it live at The Loft Cinema! Fans, theaters and media have praised The Invincible Czars for making silent horror films “actually scary” for modern-day audiences, so get ready to be frightened!
